Reimagine Your Vision Board

What do you want to accomplish?  I know entrepreneurial women who swear by the vision board.  While I find I work things out with Pinterest, it occurred to me you can customize the board in a few ways:

How to make a Vision Board

Affirmation Board

More than your goals for the year your board can be made up of the quotes that you want to remember this year (I am enough & I am worthy) or the quotes you collect that keep you going (I have a choice).

Job Board

Another way to look at the board is by using it to collect the jobs you’re applying to so you can see all the work you’re putting in to your job search, or you can use it to post your ideal jobs when you find them.  When you get weary in your studies or feel frustrated by your current job you can remind yourself of what you want to create in your career.

Networking Board

If you’re building a network as part of your job search, building your business, or simply building your brand in the industry, collecting and posting business cards and marketing materials from the people you meet is a great way to remind yourself of who you can go to when you’re looking for services or this can be a reminder to periodically sit down and reach out to those you want to keep in contact with.

Express Yourself

How you put the board together should depend on the material you have on hand.  You can glue pictures on a canvas while it’s hanging on a wall or tuck papers into a french memo board. However you choose to put your board together the key is to create something with your hands.
